Landmarks always fascinate me, like this one.
Negros Occidental Capitol (that's my 35L bag, fitted everything I need for my 14 Days Backpacking Challenge)
I took this photo (thanks to 10secs. timer) yesterday after paying a visit at the Tourism Office of Negros Occidental (turn right as you enter the Capitol first door is the Tourism Office). They have very helpful staff. Thanks because they encouraged me to go to Mambukal Resort which I did and stayed there for a night. I will blog that soon. Thanks also for the "dako" (BIG) Western Visayas map!
In front is the lagoon where joggers/runners run early in the morning. Next time I want to experience running here too.
The marker says,
Sorry, I'm too lazy to translate it for my non-Filipino readers.
PS. I'm on Day 3 of my Backpacking Challenge and so far so good. I think I can still lower the expenses because I have excess already, today and Last Tuesday.
